DirectCase is a legal research platform built around clarity, precision, and trust. It helps professionals navigate complex legal information by delivering structured insights supported by clear citations and verifiable sources.
My design strategy centered on the concept of "The Architecture of Truth" – turning complex data into a structured, authoritative visual system:
The "Prompt-Bracket" Symbol: The logo merges the command line prompt (
>) with a legal citation bracket (]). This symbolizes the intersection of advanced AI power and the rigid boundaries of legal documentation.High-Contrast Authority: The palette pairs a traditional "Legal Blue" with a high-tech "Digital Lime." This contrast positions DirectCase as a bridge between established law and the future of legal tech.
The Power of Citing: The visual identity leans heavily into the bracket as a framing device. By highlighting the word [cites], the brand communicates its core value: in law, an answer is only as good as its source.
